Kristy West is a 200-Hr Certified Yoga Teacher who wants to make yoga fun and accessible to all athletes and fitness enthusiasts, regardless of flexibility, mobility, or level of experience. Kristy's students leave class feeling they have gotten a good workout and are proud of the efforts they've put forth. Her teaching style is based on making yoga a positive experience by offering laughter and a light-hearted environment.
Her desire to teach to athletes comes from her own experiences as one. She was a gymnast at an early age then the captain of her high school golf team. But a chronic back injury kept her from pursuing those sports for long. It wasn't until 15 years later that she discovered yoga and the relief it gave her. Now, she has fully emerged as The Athlete's Yogi and wants to share her knowledge and compassion to athletes of all types!
