Do you ever get an email or see a message on social media that seems to be aimed directly at you?
That happened to me last week.
I received an email reminder for a marketing webinar I signed up to attend. Inside that email was a message in italics that asked...
"How often do I hold myself back from success?
I felt like the sender was talking to me specifically because I was still in my PJs reading that email from my bed at 10am.
Indeed, I have been standing in my own way by not maintaining a solid work and exercise schedule, then doing things when I feel like doing them. It has resulted in a lackadaisical effort in exercise as well as inconsistent content creation to build my business.
Yeah, that doesn't cut it if I want to make myself known as an yoga/stretch expert for runners now does it?🤦♀️
Something has to change and that starts with this email and my Instagram posts this week. More consistency and better quality content is the name of the game going forward.
This week we will be talking about Hamstrings - what they do, where they are, how they can be injured, and what we can do to prevent those injuries. If you don't already, you can follow those posts on my Instagram page.
So let's turn this topic to you.
What's holding you back from success? Maybe an injury, a change in jobs, a relocation, inconsistent exercise, or something else. What can you change to make improvements?
Acknowledging your setback is a huge step in the right direction.
Give yourself some grace, then go kick some 🍑.
