What helps me be Courageous

By Kristy West

THU JAN 27, 2022

I read a quote the other day that really got me thinking about the topic of being courageous and how that helps to gain momentum. No matter if I'm trying to learn something new, create a new habit, or finish a project, momentum is what helps me get it done (plus the use of a checklist!)

Here's the quote:

"He who is not courageous enough to take risks will accomplish nothing in life." - Mohammad Ali

It takes courage to try something new or to shift away from those things that are not working. I feel confident in saying that there is something in your life that you want to accomplish, so here's your chance to find your courage and give it a go!

For me, I want to accomplish a lofty goal of working with local running races by providing yoga classes at packet pick-up, post race stretch classes for participants, and offering a Yoga for Runners series for employees at Garmin.

Yes, it takes A LOT of courage to step out of my comfort zone and put myself out there. But you know what? It's paying off! I have made some solid connections with a couple of race directors and have been in talks with some people at Garmin.

Momentum, baby!!

Maybe for you that means stepping into (or back into) your yoga/movement practice. This takes courage!! But the good news is that you only need to be courageous a few times to get started. After that, momentum takes over and it becomes easier. Use that momentum to keep you going.

If you're ready to get back on your yoga mat (or step on one for the first time), I would love to support you in this! Let's take that first step together.

Through the end of the month, I am offering a $15 discount for any private or small group yoga class that is booked from now until February 28, 2022 (virtual or in person with appropriate precautions).

Here is the link to learn more. Use code MONEYOFF in checkout to save!

Whatever you want to accomplish, today is the best day to be courageous!

I hope to see you on the mat,
